What is Myofascial Release?

Myofascial Release is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works with the fascia—the thin, stretchy web of connective tissue that surrounds and supports your muscles, bones, and organs. When fascia becomes tight or restricted due to stress, injury, posture, or trauma, it can lead to pain, stiffness, and a feeling of being "stuck" in your body.

This technique helps soften and release those restrictions, restoring natural movement, improving alignment, and easing chronic tension.

How It Works

Using sustained pressure and slow, precise techniques, I work with your body (not against it) to help fascia “unwind” at a deep level. Unlike traditional massage, Myofascial Release doesn’t use oils or repetitive strokes. Instead, we focus on listening to your tissues and giving them time to release on their own.

You may notice subtle changes or big shifts—either way, the body is working at its own pace to create lasting change.

What to Expect in a Session

Sessions are performed fully clothed, typically in comfortable athletic wear. We may focus on one area or follow the fascial lines that connect different parts of your body—often, the source of your discomfort isn’t where you think it is.

You may feel:
✓ A gentle stretch or pull
✓ A softening or melting sensation
✓ Emotional release or deep relaxation
✓ An immediate shift in posture or pain relief

My approach combines assessment, experience, intuition, and a deep understanding of fascial anatomy to meet you where you are and help your body heal from the inside out.
