Registered Massage Therapy - Therapeutic Treatments
Therapeutic sessions focus on addressing specific chronic pain conditions, mobility dysfunction or sports performance concerns. These sessions are usually performed “sports massage” style without sheets, and with the patient wearing athletic attire.
I take a full body assessment and treatment approach that focuses on the relationship of muscles (Myo) and connective tissue (Fascia) within the body to identify imbalances that may be contributing/causing pain and movement dysfunction.
My approach is rooted in the concept that the source of pain is not always the cause. Because our body’s are a complicated network of interconnected tissues, the cause of the problem may be in a completely other area of the body or even an accumulation of several factors causing a chain reaction. For this reason, I believe it’s essential to consider the whole body and not just the area of pain when looking to achieve long lasting results.
Eliminate chronic pain, improve posture, correct muscle imbalances, improve biomechanics

A couple things to note before booking:
The initial appointment focuses heavily on assessment. Depending on the complexity of your issue, initial treatment time will vary and usually ranges between 20min-45min.
Treatment plans are executed over 5-10 weekly appointments as this allows us to build momentum. Some scheduling flexibility can be accommodated but consistency is key in achieving results.
Once a treatment plan is complete, we reassess and decide if: 1- More sessions are needed 2-The goal has been achieved and you only need maintenance 3- My approach may not be the right fit for you, and I refer you to another professional.
